Hola familia, How is it going? It's been a good week here. We have worked very hard and had some great experiences. But first I will start off with some funny ones. We were teaching this family that is way awesome. The one that the dad had this big doubt of why there are so many churches that say they are true. He understood exactly what we taught him and was thankful. Well we were teaching them and we gave the pamphlet to the mom so she could look at one of the pictures, and apparently the baby didn't have a diaper or anything, and he started peeing and peed all over the pamphlet ha ha! We all started to laugh. It was pretty funny. Then this other investigator that we had who works in the city plaza (thats really pretty), we talk to him when we see him working and he is reading the libro de mormon and is reading it pretty fast! He said at first his mind wasn't open to this religion but he says every day his mind is opening more and more to it. But we were talking to him one day and he told us he had a question. He said, "I am reading in this part that is talking about a big and abominable church that will rise up and that is the whore of the world." Then he said, "Now I have a question for you. Who is this whore of the world?" in a serious tone. We were nervous, but I said to him, it' any iglesia that isn't the iglesia that Jesus Christ organized. Then he said, "well you know what I think... it's the Catholic church ha ha ha. He then went off on the Catholic church so my comp and I said, "ya we think so too." It was pretty funny, but we are working with him and hope things work out. He is awesome. He always says what he thinks and he has these way old glasses that really look like the bottom of coke bottles. When we shake hands he always says mucho gusto a saludarles, which is "It makes me very happy to shake hands with you." But we have been teaching this guy who got in a motor accident still and he told us he is gaining more confidence in the Church every day and told us when he prayed about Joseph Smith that night, he had a dream where there was a man who was white and told him to take this path and follow him. He said he had to walk sidways through this path because of how narrow it was. Then when he woke up, he got down on his knees (which he can't do very well), and then prayed and said he knew it was true. He opened up his book of mormon to the picture of Jesus and stayed there on his knees and prayed some more. But he went to stake conference this week and we had to take a micro all the way there. It takes us an hour to get to the stake center which is in my old area. But it was way good. But right before we got on the micro, we saw the mom her son and her two little girls her baby boy and her little boy who she brought all by her self walking about a mile to get to the church where we took the micro. Isaid, hurry come fast and they crossed the street and got on the micro, and we left, ha ha. It was perfect timing and worked out perfectly. They said they loved conference and our mission President and his wife were there talking about references. He was way funny. It was like comedy for 10 minutes of his talk. He spoke of how he was converted and that he said "you have got to be crazy! I won't give up soccer to go to a church!" and then he said. "and then that Sunday I was inside the building". Then he said that he and two other young men were waiting for a young women to attend church and that's the reason they were there because they heard there would be young women. He said that then one came but left fast ha ha. He said he didn't understand if they were that ugly or what happened. He then said well if one came then I guess another will come in just a little. After that he spoke with power and the neccisidad of the help of the ward and how we need their help. We got some references so that was good. But I am sending letters today most likely. Well I love you guys a ton and know your lives will be awesome if you continue to know your Savior more through your decisions of what you do every day. Have an awesome week.
